An open crown is one that hasn’t yet been given a shape by bashing or pinching. The hat may be left open crowned or it might be styled by its owner to his taste. That’s how I feel about this blog: I might make it one thing or I might make it another.
In conceiving it I see it as a place for me to write about my love affair with hats but perhaps I’ll write also about the other things that interest me.
